Zoom Integration Guide

The Purple Sector Zoom integration lets approved coaches connect their Zoom account so meeting links are created automatically when a student books a sim or live coaching session.

Only coaches can authorize the integration. Students join sessions through links provided in their booking confirmation and dashboard.

1. Sign in to The Purple Sector with a coach account.
2. Open your coach profile settings (Dashboard → Profile → scheduling / Zoom section).
3. Click Connect Zoom.
4. Complete the Zoom authorization flow in the popup window.
5. When successful, your profile will show Zoom connected.

If the popup is blocked, allow popups for this site and try again.

After Zoom is connected, you do not need to create meetings manually. When a student books and pays for a sim or live coaching session, the platform automatically generates a unique Zoom meeting link for that booking.

Both you and the student receive the join link through the session details in your respective dashboards.

• OAuth Popup not appearing: Ensure your browser allows popups for www.thepurplesector.com.
• Connection Failed: If you see an error during connection, try logging out of Zoom in your browser and clicking Connect Zoom again.
• Meeting Link Missing: Meeting links are only generated if the Coach has an active Zoom connection at the time of booking. If a link is missing, please contact support.
• Expired Token: If meetings stop being created, please disconnect and reconnect your Zoom account in your Profile settings.

There is no coach-facing Disconnect button at this time. To remove the integration, revoke access from your Zoom account:

1. Sign in to your Zoom account.
2. Open the Zoom App Marketplace.
3. Go to Manage → Added Apps.
4. Find The Purple Sector and select Remove.

After you remove the app, new bookings will not receive automatically generated Zoom links until you connect again.

To request manual deletion of Zoom OAuth tokens from our database, please contact michael@thepurplesector.com. Requests are processed within 30 days.

When you authorize Zoom, we store OAuth tokens and your Zoom user ID on your coach profile to create meetings on your behalf. We do not store your Zoom password.

Previously created meeting links on past booking records may be retained for support and dispute resolution as described in Privacy Policy Section 5. For disconnect steps and token deletion requests, see Removing the app above.
